We at Bad Genes Productions are a two-person, brother and sister company focused on making engaging and affordable video games that anyone can play.

While we began working on our first title during the COVID-19 pandemic, our desire to create interactive entertainment was present in early childhood from exposure to home consoles of the 80’s and 90’s. However, our lives were each quickly overtaken by struggles with genetically inherited mental health disorders; as a result, those pie-in-the-sky ideas fell to the wayside, replaced with the struggle of daily life. Only due to recent advances in technology and independent game creation has our dream finally seemed feasible, even for such a small team of amateur developers like us.

Our goal is to make simple, entertaining, and high value-to-cost games to help working or studying adults cope with stress and anxiety.

It is our hope that we can both entertain our players and inspire other people that are hesitant about making a big change toward a better life for themselves.
